Watermelon Smoothie


The perfect smoothie to use up all that leftover watermelon on a hot summer day. This smoothie is loaded with vitamin C and cleansing properties for summer weight loss.

And I’m playing with a new iPhone app called Hipstamatic. The first pic was taken with their standard setting and the second is using their foodie add on. Fun stuff… I’m looking forward to playing around with it.


Watermelon Smoothie

  • 2 Cups Watermelon
  • 1 Cup Strawberries, frozen
  • 1 Cup Peaches, frozen
  • 1/2 Cup Pomegranate Juice
  • 1 Scoop Juice Plus French Vanilla Complete
Whirl it in a high powered blender for 30 seconds. Yum. And no need to de-seed your watermelon, watermelon seeds are completely edible.


Ahhh… my Real Ale Ride cup…. my finishing trophy for completing a short 30 mile bike ride in killer Texas hill country.
